Janice Roman

On September 24, 2010 Jan was diagnosed with a type of Leukemia, she started treatment right away in Puerto Rico, but after only 2 months of treatment, she relapse, then she was referred to Vanderbilt Cancer Institute where on November she was diagnosed with (CML) Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia and Multiple Myeloma, there we also learned that Jan's plasma cells are different from her blood cells, which made her situation very complicated, and difficult to treat.

So far since the diagnosed Jan's heart haven't been working properly and because of that she has had 3 heart attacks, and non of her procedures can be done with anesthesia (because the anesthesia can stop her heart or put her in a coma) so this journey has been very painful for her, through all Jan has never complained, we Pray for her every day, and we ask for all of you to join us as…

My Journal

Pray for Jan.

So once again I am here updating and asking for everyone to pray for Jan.As many of you know Jan had 2 types of Cancer, after her bone marrow transplant Jan was in remission for 3 months before relapsing on January with Multiples Myelomas.  Well sadly after her last check up, two weeks ago, Jan was again diagnosed with pre-leukemia, since Jan has already been sent home, our only option was to start radiation therapy.Jan had her first treatment yesterday, and it went terrible, she spent the entire day throwing up and feeling crappy, she has to be on radiation therapy for two weeks before her next bone marrow aspiration. Please keep praying for Jan, and for her siblings and parents, the situation has been very difficult on everyone. We know Jan is a strong girl and she won't admit it when she is feeling down, but we all know how hard…
