Ally was born a true blessing to her parents. She was very smart right from the beginning. She was walking by the age of 9 months and able to speak clear sentences at an early age. Ally enjoys learning. Her dad reads her book, and we all watch "learning television". She can tell you everything you need to know about dinosaurs. She truly loves Kitties and Tigers. She hasn't been able to attend school at all since she was diagnosed in the beginning of 4K but she grips on to everything she sees and hears. Daddy has taught her how to write some words, and she has a very complex vocabulary. When she grows up she would like to be Paleontologist or a doctor to help other kids sick like her. She is very loving and full of smiles. |

Ally Marie Jansen was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma November, 2010 at the age of 4 years old. Since this time she has had several chemotherapy treatments, a major surgery removing a 5lb tumor that took 12 long hours, a bone marrow transplant as well as 4 straight weeks of radiation. The first two rounds of treatments were not as successful as the doctors had hoped. Now they gave us the impression she is not curable. The doctors are going to do MIBG radiation next month and dad will be donating his stem cells. They still say this might not cure her. They might be out of options but God is not!!! -Kristina |
