Please continue praying
Thursday, May 17, 2012 11:36 AM
I don't have anything new to really report. Ally still isn't eating, and she can't even be given her feeds because her stomach can't tolerate it. She has been going on two weeks like this. They have her hooked up to an IV, also giving her pedialyte. She is still throwing up blood and has diarrhea. Her mouth sores are still there too. She will have a few hours in the days where she is feeling much better but then it comes back. She slept until after 10am today which is unusual because she is usually up at 7am. I hope this rest strenghtens her and she will get better soon. The only good news I have to report is her numbers are improving.
Thank you all for praying for Ally!

Not too much new to report other than Ally has been doing really well after getting dad's cells. She did develop a fever but the wonderful doctors in Madison have it all under control including the pain her body was feeling. She is doing really well especially with all she has been through. Especially after having a new type of chemo the week before her transplant! I believe it was her 13th treatment.
If you would like to send Ally a card (she will be in the hospital until the end of May/ early June) You may do so at the address below. Please NO flowers.
I was asked what address items/cards could be sent to Ally and she is currently at the American Family Children's hospital in Madison WI until about the end of May/early June. NO FLOWERS are permitted.

Ally is doing ok today. She is having a minor reaction to the cells she was given. She has a tummy ache, her body aches and she had a low grade fever. I guess this was to be expected. She will get round two of cells tonight yet...
I will let you all know how that goes...

Andy(Dad) let me know that the infusion went well tonight! Thanks to God and all the prayers. The doctors told him that this was the highest concentration of stem cells they have ever given in this program! He is very proud of himself!! I hope dad's cells are God's warriors going in to attack the cancer! Tomorrow she will get another infusion, not sure of the type right now... I'll confirm when Andy calls me later tonight.
One and a half weeks down with possibly 5 more to go! UGH, its going to be difficult with her hospitalized for that long... Dad missing work... etc... But God will provide!! We will be fine :-)
Thank you all for your prayers, for the donations and all your guestbook notes. We truly appreciate all of our supporters! Ally is a lucky girl to have so many people praying for her!
God Bless,
Kristina
